Harrisburg Park offers over 33 acres to enjoy! Open dawn to dusk, this ADA accessible park features mountain bike and walking trails, an 11,000 sq. ft. playground, 10,000 sq. ft. seasonal splash pad with interactive water play amenities and slide, horseshoe pits, corn hole courts and more.
Borrow discs at the park’s office and enjoy the 9-hole disc golf course which also utilizes a portion of neighboring Harris Depot Park. Home to a 2,200 sq. ft. amphitheater with a 20 ft. film screen and 100,000 sq. ft. lawn, Harrisburg Park also hosts many of the town’s special events including the annual July Fourth Celebration and Rockin’ the Burg Summer Concert Series.
The park is certified by the National Wildlife Federation as a wildlife habitat, and the Harrisburg branch of the Cabarrus County library system is located just inside the park entrance.
